Azerbaijan , Baku /corr Trend I.Alizade / Ziya Mamadov, the Azerbaijani Transport Minister, stated in talks with journalists that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project is open to any country.
He noted that there is no problem in Kazakhstan joining this project and the question can be considered if Astana appeals.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway route connects Azerbaijan , Georgia and Turkey . The project of this route is estimated at $400mln.
