Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr A. Ismayilova /The Baku declaration was signed after the second summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM ( Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Moldova) held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on the 19th of June. The document was signed by the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine, Ilham Aliyev, Mikhail Saakashvili , and Victor Yushenko , as well as the Prime Minister of Moldova, Vasili Tarlev . The content of the document has not yet been publicized.
Other documents were signed within the framework of the summit and the document on the transfer of chairmanship in GUAM for 2007-2008 from Ukraine to Azerbaijan is amongst them
Foreign Ministers signed agreements on the strategic development of branch cooperation within GUAM.
The results of the summit will be released by the Presidents at a press-conference to be held immediately after the summit.
