Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Badalova / President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated in Tehran on the 22nd of June, that Iran is prepared to have growing ties and cooperation with Azerbaijan as there are extensive potentials available.
Ahmadinejad told Azeri foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov that Iran does not consider there to be any limit for sharing its valuable experience with the republic of Azerbaijan.
He stressed that regional states should expand mutual cooperation in line with the interests of their nations.
"Progress and strength of any country in the region would benefit itself and other regional nations," he added.
Mammadyarov stated on his behalf that Baku would like to use Iran's precious experience in the different fields, including energy, culture and power plant construction as well as widening the north-south corridor
