Pardon commission to considers appeals in Azerbaijan

The Pardon Commission under the President of Azerbaijan will hold the next meeting. On Dec. 16, the meeting will focus on the received appeals, the committee member, MP Vagif Samedoglu told Trend .
According to Samedoglu, he presented about 60 appeals to the commission.
The fist meeting of the commission took place last week.
Since 1994, 45 pardon decrees have been signed, which freed 4,858 people. 13 orders were signed by Ilham Aliyev, 32 - the late President Heydar Aliyev. Eight acts of amnesty have been applied to 40,000 prisoners.
