The Georgian law enforcement officers have prevented the illicit trafficking of another painting by the Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani.
The General Prosecutor's Office reported that "The Wounded Soldiers" painting was confiscated. The painting and seven masterpieces of various other artists will be returned to the National Gallery.
The works date back to the 19th-20th centuries, according to experts, and are of a particular cultural value.
