Reps of Azeri Omb’s Institute monitor detention wards

The representatives of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman’s Institute monitored detention wards of the Central Department on Struggle with Organized Crime of the Internal Affairs Ministry and police station 4 of the Binagadi district police department of Baku, the press service of the Institute told Trend.

The goal of the monitoring is to study keeping conditions, adherence to the criminal procedure and acts offending prisoners.

During the meeting with prisoners, the employees of the Institute showed interest in the keeping conditions and explained their rights.

It should be mentioned that similar measures are regularly taken by the representative of the Institute.
