Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Javadova / On 30 March Azerbaijan Court on Heinous Crimes continued the court session over the criminal cases of the former Health Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Insanov and other 10 prosecuted people.
The Prosecutor, Kamran Aliyev, made a petition to invite additional witnesses to the court. The Prosecutor considers it necessary to attract 7 persons, who have attended the search in the House of accused Akif Maharramov. Maharramov's Advocate Vagif Aliyev also raised such a petition. The petition was partially ensured. 5 out the 7 people will be invited to the Court as witnesses.
Thereafter, prosecuted Alexander Umnyashink's Advocate Isakhan Ashurov raised a petition to invite Eldar Ahmadov, the Investigation Department on Heinous Crimes, to the court as witness. The Judge rejected this petition.
Ali Insanov's advocates, Agaveys Shahverdiyev and Togrul Babayev stated that they should consult with Insanov due to the invitation of additional witnesses.
