Russia, Moscow / corr. Trend R.Agayev / The President of the Azerbaijani Club of the Moscow State Institute of International Relationships, Leyla Aliyeva, visited the Moscow State Socio-Humanitarian Institute (MSSHI) at the invitation of the Rector of the MSSHI, Vagif Deyrushevich Bayramov.
After the meeting at the Rector's office in MSSHI, Aliyeva was accompanied by the Rector to tour the Institute. She was warmly welcomed in the sports hall by Paralympics Epee Fencing winners, as well as their coaches, who shared their impressions of Azerbaijan. They noted with pride their direct participation in the Azerbaijani national team of fencers and other outstanding sportsmen, including Yelena Zhemayeva.
Bayramov introduced Aliyeva to the students' living conditions, include, the accommodation for the disabled students who live and study at the Institute.
A concert by the disabled students was held in Aliyeva's honor. She responded with a speech, noting that she visited the University as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and thanking the head of the University for his warm reception. She stated that the visit to MSSHI made a deep impression on her and promised to offer assistance in opening a similar university in Azerbaijan on the basis of exchange of experience, as culture, humanitarian, social interaction and active co-operation was the main direction of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
"I am very pleased to see the Azerbaijan's state flag and I thank the management of the University and personally to the Rector for the work done at the University," Aliyeva stated at the end of her visit. She presented books and other gifts to the Institute on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Students of MSSHI, including those who were disabled, performed a lively concert with performances in different genres. The highlight was performed at the end of program, a lezgi dance, which was greeted with a round of applause.
MSSHI was established at the decree of the Soviet of Ministers on 11 October 1990. The University which has 5 faculties is the only high school of its type in Russia allocated for children with motion support system.
The Rector of the University, PhD in political sciences, Vagif Deyrushevich Bayramov, has been working at the University since 2004. He holds two diplomas on higher education. In 2006 he graduated to Moscow Academy of State Municipalities, the Russian Academy of State Service at the Russian President with the grade of "State and municipal governance, governance at education bodies'. In 2006 Bayramov receive special gratitude from the Federal Agency for Education for his achievement in the scientific activities, contribution in training of highly qualified specialists, consolidation of logistics base of the university. He was awarded medals 'Honorary employee in youth policy' of Russia and 'Honorary Employee of medium professional education in Russia'.
