Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr . I.Alizadeh / MP Siyavush Novruzov , the deputy executive secretary for the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) and member of the permanent Parliamentary commission on Security and Defense, stated on the 6th of June that he was willing to appear before the Court on the basis of a lawsuit, brought against him by a group of journalists.
"Any issues might be resolved within the law, through the Court," Novruzov stated.
Novruzov noted that he did not use words offending honour and dignity in his statement.
A group of journalists of the Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realniy Azerbaijan newspapers have decided to leave the country to require political asylum. A range of journalists from other newspapers joined them. Presently, 24 or 19 of the Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realniy Azerbaijan newspapers, 3 of the Azadlyg newspaper, 1 of the Yuksalish namina and 1 of the Baku Khabar newspapers' journalists are also willing to leave the country.
