The practical measures were taken in Azerbaijan in 2021 and are being taken today to implement the Zangazur corridor, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said while discussing the Cabinet Ministers’ report on activity in 2021 at a plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament, Trend reports.
The prime minister stressed the importance of the memorandum of understanding signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Iran on the creation of new communication ties between the Eastern Zangazur economic region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through Iran.
“The establishment of new communication ties makes an important contribution to the development of the region,” Asadov said.
