BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. Turkish exports of electrical equipment to Azerbaijan totaled $69.4 million, up by 45.3 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkiye said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
"In May 2022, Turkiye exported electrical equipment worth $19.4 million, which was 41.6 percent more than in the same month of 2021," the ministry said.
Totally, Turkiye has exported electrical machinery amounting to $6 billion in the first five months of 2022, growing by 7.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
According to the ministry, in May 2022, Turkey exported $1 billion worth of electrical equipment, down by 2.8 percent from May 2021.
Over the past 12 months (May 2021-May 2022), Turkish electrical machinery exports amounted to $14.6 billion.
