BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8. Türkiye increased steel exports to Azerbaijan by 37.8 percent from January through June 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, up to $66.4 million, the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye said, Trend reports citing TurkicWorld.
According to the ministry, steel exports of Türkiye to Azerbaijan totaled $18 million in June 2022, up by 93.3 percent against the same month of 2021.
In the first half of 2022, Türkiye boosted steel exports by 30 percent compared to the same period 2021 reaching $11.9 billion.
In June 2022, the country exported $2.3 billion worth of steel, exceeding the same month of 2021 by 14.6 percent.
Türkiye has exported $25 billion worth of steel over the past 12 months (June 2021 – June 2022).
