Türkiye records decline in export value of chemicals for February 2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. The total value of chemical exports from Türkiye decreased in February 2023, the country’s Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.

According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $2.3 billion, down by 7.4 percent percent on annual basis.

"From January through February this year, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $4.5 billion, which is 0.5 percent less compared to the same period in 2022," the ministry said.

The country exported $33.5 billion worth of chemicals over the past 12 months (from February 2022 through February 2023), the ministry added.

In 2022, Türkiye exported chemicals also in the amount of $33.5 billion, which was growth by 31.9 percent compared to 2021.
