Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / Assets of one of the largest Azerbaijani banks, Ata Bank, comprised 40.5% or AZN 25.36mln, comprising AZN 88.032mln at the beginning of 2008. Increase was 74% or AZN 37.468mln as compared to similar period of 2006, the Bank said on 13 November.
During this period the credit portfolio of Ata Bank grew by 37% or AZN 15.3mln to AZN 57.3mln, with an increase of 63% or AZN 22.2mln over 10 months in 2006.
The total urgent depository portfolio of the bank increased by 53% or AZN 20.2mln to AZN 58.2mln. The increase during the year comprised 78% or AZN 25.4mln. Deposits of physical persons at the bank increased by 66% to AZN 35mln.
The bank's balance profits increased by AZN 2.1mln to AZN 2.6mln as compared compare the beginning of 2007 and 10 times as compared to the similar period of 2006.
