Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 March / Trend / On 6-7 March, the representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan will be participating in the second preparatory conference for the OSCE 16th forum on economy and environment to take place in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, the Transport Ministry reported.
Elmar Farajev, the head of the Department for TRACECA and International Projects at the Transport Ministry, will deliver a report on 'The Role of Azerbaijan in Transit Transportations in Eurasia'.
The first preparatory conference for the 16th OSCE forum took place in Helsinki, Finland, on 10 -11 September. The meeting discussed the difficulties of the countries which do not have an outlet to the sea. Special attention was paid to cooperation for development of internal waterways and multimodal corridors with outlet to the sea and internal waterways of the OSCE countries.
