Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 March /corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / The Labor Inspection committee of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will begin the monitoring of labor conditions in private media sources from the second quarter of this year, the Head of the Inspection, Nabi Shukurlu, said on 6 March.
"The inspection committee will hold inspections in all the private TV channels and news agencies," Shukurlu said.
17 private TV channels and nine news agencies function in the territory of Azerbaijan.
Shukurlu said that the Inspection will hold monitoring of the labor conditions, signing of the labor contracts and description of the labor payment.
"If violations regarding the rights of labour are observed, the heads of the companies will be fined in amount between AZN 3,000 and 27,000," Shukurlu said.
