Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 May / Trend corr E. Ismayilov/ "The Baku Metro plans to operate a new underground station in October. The station is conventionally called Nasimi, but its name will be specified later," Elbrus Muradov, chief engineer of the Baku Metro, said on 12 May. The station will be tested in August.
According to Muradov, Baku Metro plans to commence construction of new Azadlig station nearby Baku's 8th micro region in 2009.
Muradov said that construction of a new station nearby Darnagul and of a new depot is planned for 2010-2012.
