Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 August/ Trend , S. Babayeva/ A total of 590 people have been provided with jobs as a result of job fairs held in seven regions of Azerbaijan, Central Employment Department of Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan said.
The fairs were held in Shamkir, Goychay, Saatli, Gadabay, Davachi, Jalilabad and Kurdamir regions.
"A total of 199 companies took part in the fairs who offered 1,964 vacancies," Ministry said.
Some 3023 people were provided with jobs as a result of 32 fairs in the regions of Azerbaijan since the beginning of the year.
The next fairs will be held on 4 September in Goygol and Zagatala.
In 2007, Ministry of Labor conducted 57 fairs in Azerbaijan. A total of 9,056 people were provided with jobs.
