Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 September/ Trend , corr. N. Kirtzkhalia / "A principal decision was taken to reconsider the bilateral agreement between Georgia and the UK to avoid the double taxation," told the Georgian Premier Vladimir Gurgenidze said at meeting of the Government on 24 September.

This decision was taken during his last week visit to London, where he had meetings with the prime-minister, the finance minister and other officials of the UK.

"The agreement with the UK to avoid the double taxation will be reconsidered to minimize taxation of dividends, Gurgenidze said. This change assists in attraction of British investments to Georgia".

This process will be finished in several months. "The British investments have played serious role in Georgia's economy, so far," Gurgenidze said.
