The Azerbaijani and Cuban culture and tourism ministries signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of tourism. Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev is on a state visit to Havana, the Ministry reported on Feb. 27.
Garayev met with Cuban Vice President, Chamber of Commerce, Foreign Commerce Minister, Deputy Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister.
Garayev also visited the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Centre and Institute of Sports, and attended the festival of cigars.
Garayev's visit will last to March 3.
