Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov decreed to charge the Economy and Development Ministry with state licensing control.
The ministries and agencies authorized to issue licenses, activities to be licensed, and state licensing fees were listed in the decree.
Relevant ministries and agencies must submit to the Economy and Development Ministry proposals on establishment of licensing divisions and their staffs, as well as draft regulations on licensing of certain activities. The proposals must be coordinated with the Cabinet of Ministers beforehand.
The Justice Ministry, together with relevant ministries and agencies, must develop and submit to the Cabinet proposals for amendments and additions to country's acting legislation within a month.
