Azerbaijan imported goods worth $562.06 million from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in January-April, or 30.93 percent of the country's total imports, the State Customs Committee said.
Azerbaijan mainly imported grain (15.45 percent of total import), land vehicles (9.31 percent) and equipment and mechanical devices (15.69 percent).
Azerbaijan exported goods worth $329.5 million (9.32 percent of total export) to the CIS.
Azerbaijan mainly exported mineral fuels, oil products, bitumen minerals (51.82 percent of total export), fruits (3.86 percent) and animal and vegetable oil (12.27 percent) to the CIS.
Red ink as a result of imports and exports was $232.55 million.
