Profit of the Azerbaijani Bank of Baku increased 9.4 percent and was 3.54 million manat after paying taxes, the bank said. The bank's income amounted to 15.51 million manat in 5 months.
The bank's assets increased 0.1 percent in May and amounted to 170.32 million manat on June 1, the bank said.
The bank's deposit portfolio increased by 2.8 percent and was 125.305 million manat in this period. Some 60.96 million manat of this amount falls to individuals and 56.67 million manat - deposits of enterprises.
The bank's loan portfolio dropped two percent and was 126.15 million manat in May. This figure made up 128.68 million manat in April.
The bank's aggregate capital comprised 30.31 million manat on June 1 compared to 30.07 million manat on May 1. The bank's authorized capital totals 6.8 million manat.
On June 27, the official exchange rate is 0.8041 manat to $1.
