The Azerbaijani Milli Kart Processing Center expects an increase of banks served by the center in 2010, center CEO Jalal Orujov said today.
At present, the center serves 12 banks and we expect to connect additional 1-2 banks in 2010," Orujov said.
According to Orujov, the number of banks served at Milli Kart increased from 10 to 12 including Eurobank and Azerneqliyyat Bank as of 2009.
The Millikart was founded on 14 July 2006 after the 18 commercial banks redeemed the processing center of the plastic cards at the CBA. The minimum participation share of the banks is 1 percent and the maximum- 10 percent.
