The government of Azerbaijan has held down significant price increases for construction materials, the head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development, Zahid Isayev, has told local media.
"The increase in prices was fixed on building materials at a low level. It poses no risk," Isayev said.
He said that the State Service conducts monitoring both on food prices and building materials prices.
In July, prices for construction materials in Baku reduced by 0.48 percent compared to June, NGO Property Market Participants said.
