Azerbaijan imported 369,200 tons of cement and cement clinkers in January-March or 26.7 percent more compared to the same period of 2010, the State Statistics Committee said.
Cement and cement clinkers were imported in the amount of over $16.63 million or 11.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2010.
Cement clinkers were imported in the amount of 147,000 tons in January-March or 14.6 percent more compared to 2010. Clinkers were imported in the amount of $6.5 million or 0.7 percent more compared to the same period of 2010.
In January-March, cement was imported in the amount of 222,200 tons or 36.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2010. Cement was imported in the amount of $10.14 million during this period or 18.8 percent more compared to the same period of 2010.
In January-April, Azerbaijan imported 422,100 tons of cement, which is 24 percent more compared to the same period of 2010.
