The Baku Steel Company, which intends to invest 15 million euro in production, has signed a contract with the German Siemens to replace an existing furnace, the company said on Tuesday.
Installation in the first phase will create conditions for increased work on the first area of the plant from 350,000 to 500,000 tons.
Dust and smoke suppression installations will also be replaced. The equipment is fully automated and has a mechanism to automatically control the emission of harmful substances.
