Georgia’s full external debt is $8.10 billion

The National Bank of Georgia has begun publishing its debt service list from the period since January 2012. A list of payments (principal and interest) will be published no later than the hundredth day after the end of the reporting period the National Bank of Georgia told Trend.
The external debt list to September 30, 2011 will appear on the web page of the National Bank by January 10, 2012.

Georgia's external debt status as of September 30, 2011 amounted to $10.8 billion (17.9 billion lari), of which $3.6 billion (5.9 billion lari) is the government sector (33.2 per cent), $866.6 million (8.0 per cent)(1.4 billion lari) of the National Bank, $2.0 billion (18.1 per cent) (3.2 billion lari) the banking sector, $1.9 million (17.4 per cent) (3.1 billion lari) other sectors, and $2.5 billion (23.3per cent ) and 4.2 billion lari is the company's debt.

Some 95.3 per cent of the total external debt is in foreign currency.
