Some 36 projects have been launched in the sphere of metallurgy in Kazakhstan by creating 21,900 jobs in 2010-2011, Kazakh Prime Minister's website reports on Saturday.
According to the report, due to a new industrial policy, enterprises began to produce products in 1.5 times more than in 1990s. From January to November 2011, output of high-tech products increased by more than 7 percent compared to the same period of the year before.
Gross value added in 2010 increased by 28 percent. High-tech exports in 10 months of 2011 increased by 45 percent.
