Meeting of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission will be held in Bishkek in May, President of Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan Zhumakadyr Akeneev told Trend. According to Akeneev meetings at various ministries of the country are expected during the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

Meeting of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission will be held in Bishkek in May, President of Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan Zhumakadyr Akeneev told Trend.
According to Akeneev meetings at various ministries of the country are expected during the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Kyrgyzstan.

"Detailed plan of cooperation between the two countries in various spheres, including economic will be discussed during the meeting," Akeneev said.

Several documents including an agreement on cooperation in combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, the protocol on the results of bilateral negotiations within the framework of Azerbaijan's accession into the World Trade Organization Agreement on cooperation in culture, and others were signed between the two countries during the official visit of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev in Azerbaijan last month.

Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan also enhance cooperation in energy field. Kyrgyz side appealed to Azerbaijan with a proposal to build a refinery in the country. This issue was also discussed at the meeting of heads of states. Currently, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is evaluating the project.

"This issue will also be discussed at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission," Akeneev said.
