Georgia has received remittances worth $107.8 million from abroad in June 2012.
This amount is $6.1 million (5.4 percent) less than during the same period in 2011, the National Bank of Georgia told Trend on Tuesday.
The greatest amount of remittances again accounted for Russia - $54.9 million, which makes up 51 percent of total remittances for June.
Some $12.3 million (11.4 percent) was received from Greece, Italy - $8.5 million (7.9 percent), U.S. - $6.7 million (6.2 percent), Ukraine - $3.5 million (3.3 percent), Turkey - $2.8 million (2.6 percent), India - $2.7 million (2.5 percent) and Spain - $2.3 million (2.1
percent).
Georgia transferred $8.7 million abroad in June 2012, which is $700,000 more than in June last year.
