The Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan is planning to sign a contract with Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co.KG. (FRG) from its own funds for the purchase and installation of IP-network communications equipment for the modernisation of government communications, an official Turkmen source said on Monday.
President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the corresponding decree 'in order to ensure a reliable and high functioning system of government communications'.
