The fourth Turkmenistan Investment Forum, organised by the Chamber of Commerce, Turkmenistan's industry and Summit Trade Events Ltd (UK) will be held on October 17-19, 2012 in Ashgabat, the company said on Thursday.
This event was initiated by the President of Turkmenistan in 2009 and is supported by the government of Turkmenistan.
The forum aims to highlight investment opportunities for the development of the national economy, an effective international partnership and provide forum members up to date information on the strategy of the Government to promote direct foreign investment and the current status of the business climate in Turkmen.
TurkmenistanInvest 2012 will focus on discussing the following sectors: agriculture, banking and financial services, chemicals, communications, construction, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, minerals, oil and gas, energy, renewable energy, textiles and transport.
The event will be the place to discuss key issues of the national economy, including how to improve the competitiveness of the country, how to implement a large scale projects and implement initiatives that will strengthen the economic potential of Turkmenistan.
