Kazakhstan's exchange offices have set a record for the sale of the ruble this year, according to the analytical service Ranking.kz.
In July, 40 billion tenge ($ 1-182 tenge) worth of Russian currency was sold in Kazakhstan.
Thirty-three percent growth (10 billion tenge) was observed compared to the previous month, while 41 percent growth (11.6 billion tenge) compared to July 2013.
According to the analysts, the greatest demand is ruble was fixed in West Kazakhstan region. The monthly increase in sales is 65% up to 3.5 billion tenge.
