Azerbaijan proposes to cancel the validity period of multiple entry visa.
These changes are provided in the draft amendments to the law "On state due", which is currently under the consideration of the Parliament (Milli Majlis) of the country.
Currently, reusable visa is issued for a period of one year.
It is also proposed to abolish double-entry visa, which may be acquired by paying $100 in accordance with the changes in Azerbaijan. Thus, those wishing to obtain a visa will be able to apply for a one-time only or multiple entry visas.
However, the changes didn't influence on the state due for processing visa applications. The state duty for registration of a single visa is $50, reusable - $350.
In addition, it is proposed to cancel the legal costs for the extension of the power of attorney on a visa for foreigners coming to Azerbaijan in groups.
Changes to the law "On state due" are prepared in order to bring it into compliance with the Migration Code of Azerbaijan.
