Turkey businesses to help start Azerbaijan's production sites

Turkish entrepreneurs will actively participate in the creation of big production sites in Azerbaijan, said Turkey’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral.
He made the remarks during the meeting with chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev.
The ambassador said that political, economic and cultural relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are at a high level, and customs authorities have important responsibilities in the context of economic relations.
Ozoral noted that Turkish businessmen are satisfied with the work of the customs services of Azerbaijan and don’t have any problems in this regard.
Aydin Aliyev, for his part, said that relations between the two countries are always developing upwards.
He expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with Turkish customs authorities and added that the Turkish experience on risk management in customs service had a positive impact on Azerbaijan’s customs service.
Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey exceeded $1.67 billion in January-September 2016, $842.19 million of which accounted for the export to Turkey, according to Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
