Housing prices rise in Uzbekistan's Tashkent

The cost of apartments in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, increased by three percent in December 2017.

The average bid price in the secondary real estate market of Tashkent in December 2017 was $545 per square meter, compared to $530 a month earlier. This is stated in the review of the evaluation organization CREDO MAX ESTIMATION.

In December 2016, the average offer price was $552. In December, the average price of the offer increased in 10 of 11 districts of Tashkent.

As for the territorial zoning of the city, prices increased in all the zones. In the downtown, that is the zone 1, the average price level of the offer for December was $719 per square meter

In the first round segment (zones 2-4), the price was in the range of $532-$588, in the second round segment (zones 5-9) - $458-528, and in zone 10 (Sergeli and Bektemir districts) - $433.

Depending on the number of rooms, the average prices per square meter were as follows: one-room - $ 545 per square meter (three percent increase), two-room - $ 524 (three percent increase), three-room $ 560 (two percent growth), apartments with four or more rooms - $557 (an increase of 2 percent).

The largest volume of construction work in Uzbekistan in 2017 was recorded in Tashkent - 5.7 trillion soums. Overall, construction works worth 34.1 trillion soums, which is 15.8 percent more than in 2016, was conducted in 2017.
