Iran's fruit exports increase by 17%

Iran's fruit exports exceeded one million tons in the first half of this year (Iranian year starts on March 21), ISNA reported citing Iran's Customs Administration (IRICA).

During the first six months of the year, 1,138,000 tons of fruits worth $741 million were exported to various countries.

During the same period of last year, 974,000 tons of fruits worth $633 million were exported.

In the first half of this year, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to $23.123 billion.

The IRICA has also noted that some specific simplifications for exporters will be considered in the future.
