Iranian Economy Minister Farhad Dejpasand has underscored the significance of attracting foreign investment opportunities, deeming it as a task to be handled like "an eagle on a hunt", the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
“We need to use the maximum power of the public sector and the private sector,” Dejpasand was quoted as saying in a meeting attended by a group of economy officials on Tuesday.
He is of the opinion that foreign investment is not only a means to gain financial support, but can also be of help in transfer of technology, and act as a stimulus for economic growth on a domestic scale.
