Uzbekistan increases car output, reduces gasoline production in 2019

In January-February 2019, Uzbekistan reduced gasoline production by 26.3 percent compared to the same period of 2018 to 151,600 tons, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek State Statistics Committee.

However, the country produced more than 38,640 passenger cars, which is 51.3 percent higher compared to the same period in 2018.

In January-February 2019, the volume of diesel fuel production amounted to 169,800 tons, which is 4 percent higher compared to the same period of 2018.

At the same time, Uzbekistan reduced oil production by 5.3 percent in January-February 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 - to 115,500 tons.

Natural gas production in January-February 2019 amounted to about 10.05 billion cubic meters, which is 4.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.

Uzbekistan in January-February 2019 produced more than 344,800 tons of gas condensate, which is 2.5 percent less compared to the same period of 2018.

Moreover, State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan underlined that the production of trucks increased 2.6 times in the reporting period up to 782 units.

Uzbekistan in January-February 2019 produced 194 buses, which is 2.1 times more compared to the same period in 2018.

The production of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-February 2019 amounted to 32,640. The increase compared with January 2018 was 64.1 percent.

In January-February 2019, the output of tractors was 67 pieces, which is 67.8 percent less compared to the same period of 2018.
