Exports of industrial parks in Iran's Qazvin province exceed 110 million tons

Production facilities in the industrial parks of Iran's Qazvin province exported 116 million tons of goods for $148 million in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), Director Executive of Qazvin Industrial Parks Company Hamidreza Khanpour said, Trend reports via IRNA.

Main export goods were chemicals, detergents, raisins, cellophane, various electrical cables and CNG capsules, Khanpour said.

These goods were exported to the UK, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, China, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Iraq and the UAE, he added.

He further noted that Iran's economy is aimed at strengthening economic relations with neighbors, as well as other countries, attracting investments and joint production.

For this end, Iranian goods should enter new markets, he noted.

Khanpour stressed that in the current situation, it is of exceptional importance to increase exports to new markets.

He further added that using the sanctions imposed on it, Iran can get rid of the dependency on its incomes from oil.
