Kazakhstan decreases volume of goods turnover with other EAEU members

Based on preliminary results, the value of mutual trade turnover between Kazakhstan and other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $4,446.8 million tenge which is 0.3 percent less than in the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, in the reporting period, the value of Kazakh export to other EAEU countries amounted to $1,344.5 million which is 4.8 percent less than in January-March 2018. In contrast, the value of import amounted to $3,102.3 million (+1.7 percent).

In the structure of Kazakhstan export with other EAEU countries, some 92.8 percent accounts for Russia, four percent accounts for Kyrgyzstan, 3.1 percent accounts for Belarus.

The Eurasian Economic Union is an economic union of states located in Central and Northern Asia and Eastern Europe.
