Kazakhstan to export new types of milk products to China

Kazakhstan is planning to begin export of products of two local milk factories to China, Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

Golden Camel company is planning to export up to 200 tons of camel milk powder worth $15-30 million a year.

The camel milk processing factory of the company worth seven billion tenge was put into operation in 2018. The factory is in Turkestan region and was built with Chinese investments.

The factory’s volume allows to process up to 100 tons of raw material and to manufacture up to 10 tons of milk powder from mare’s or camel’s milk a day.

The company’s products are manufactured from Kazakh raw materials and are patented.

In January of 2019 Т/СААА 011-2019 Camel milk powder standard was registered in China and is an essential requirement for the production that is being exported to China.

Furthermore, Eurasia Invest LTD is planning to export sublimated milk to China. The estimated volume of export amounts up to 100 tons a year worth $12 million.

Currently, the work on setting and harmonizing standards on innovative product is taking place.

The launch of the sublimated milk factory based on the German technology took place in Kazakhstan’s Karaganda in 2015. The factory’s volume reaches 2.5 tons of raw material processing or 100,000 tons of manufactured product a year.
