In January-May 2019, the volume of transactions concluded at the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) amounted to 17.5 trillion soums, which is 60.4 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports with reference to the UZEX.
The volume of exchange exports increased by 48 percent and amounted to $66.8 million.
The total volume of transactions concluded with the participation of small businesses and private entrepreneurship reached 8.3 trillion soums, which is 63 percent more than in 5 months of last year.
Moreover, entrepreneurs purchased commodity resources for 5.6 trillion soums through the stock exchange and sold their own products for 2.7 trillion soums.
In the reporting period, the volume of exhibition and fair trade amounted to 528.6 billion soums, which is 2 percent more than in the same period of 2018.
The system of government procurement xarid.uz concluded deals worth about 1.3 trillion soums. The amount of savings of budget and corporate customers amounted to 241.6 billion soums.
Over 14,600 license plates were sold through the online auction exchange in the avtoraqam.uzex.uz system.
The total amount of sold state license plates was about 61.5 billion soums.
