In May 2019, Turkey's trade turnover with Israel increased by $130.027 million compared to May 2018 and amounted to $583.532 million, Trend reports referring to Turkish Ministry of Trade.
In May 2019, Turkey's exports to Israel amounted to $405.976 million, while imports from Israel equaled to $177.556 million.
The ministry noted that the trade turnover between Turkey and Israel in January-May 2019 also increased by $294.3 million compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $2.6 billion.
In January-May 2019, the value of Turkish exports to Israel amounted to $1.8 billion, while imports from Israel equaled to $854 million.
The total foreign trade turnover of Turkey in May 2019 amounted to $34.633 billion.
In May 2019, Turkish exports increased by 0.5 percent compared to May 2018 and amounted to $16.334 billion.
In the reported period, Turkey's imports decreased by 17.81 percent compared to May 2018 and amounted to $18.299 billion.
