Azerbaijan's Sabirabad Canning Factory plans to expand the list export destinations for its pomegranate juice production in the near future, Trend reports referring to a source at the factory.
The source noted that the factory plans to export its products to the CIS countries.
"Currently, negotiations are underway on exports and market opportunities are being studied. We have received export proposals from Kazakhstan. This market is also attractive to us. Presently, the factory produces 10 million bottles of pomegranate juice, narsharab [pomegranate sauce] and pomegranate concentrate annually," the source said.
"By the end of 2019, we plan to increase the current volumes to 15 million bottles a year, so that from the beginning of 2020 we will increase export opportunities. At the same time, we study European markets. In this direction, there are already specific achievements, we are negotiating with customers in Germany," the source added.
Sabirabad Canning Factory has been operating since 1982.
