The Georgian poultry complex Chirina LLC will open 14 new broiler farms in the village of Sartichale in Georgia in March 2020, said founder of the company Revaz Vashakidze, Trend reports with reference to commersant.ge.

In his words, the construction of farms will be completed by the end of this year. Within the framework of the project, 100 Georgian farmers, including 20 women, will be given special training to learn new technologies and increase efficiency.

According to Vashakidze, the poultry complex has received funds from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The bank allocated four million euros to Georgian integrated modern farms in order to increase the output of Chirina LLC by 50 percent.

In the framework of financing, EBRD will also provide funds for the creation of 14 new broiler farms in the country to increase chicken production and export to neighboring countries.

The cooperation of the EBRD with Chirina LLC began in 2017.

Chirina LLC was founded by Revaz Vashakidze in 2011. At present, it is the largest integrated poultry company in Georgia. Chirina LLC ensures production safety throughout the entire production cycle - from growing crops to food production and distribution.
