Another terminal will be built at the Samarkand airport in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the presidential press service.
"It is planned to build another terminal, reconstruct the runway, expand aircraft parking, modernize radar systems," the report said.
It is also known that the new terminal will meet all international requirements and serve 600 passengers per hour.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the project of reconstruction of the airport in Samarkand, where he arrived this morning.
The head of state gave instructions for the introduction of modern management at the airport, increasing the number of trains and buses on routes during the renovation, creating additional amenities for people.
