The value of industrial manufacturing amounted to 84.999 billion tenge in Kazakhstan’s Semey city of East Kazakhstan region during 1H2019, which is 9.7 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the akimat (administrative center) of the city.
The manufacturing value of mining and quarrying industry equaled 12.446 billion tenge, which is 23.5 percent more than during the same period of last year.
The manufacturing value of processing industry stood at 64.159 billion tenge, which is 4.4 percent more compared to the 1H2019. The largest percentage of the processing industry value accounts for metallurgical industry, the value of which equaled 15.070 billion tenge, which is 24.2 percent less than during the same period of last year.
The largest increase in the processing industry is observed on manufacturing of vehicles, trailers and semitrailers, the value of which has increased by 2.7 times and equaled 6.397 billion tenge.
Furthermore, the production in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply exceeded 7.213 billion tenge, which is 66.1 percent more than during the same period of 2018.
Lastly, the production value in water supply, sewerage, waste management equaled 1.179 billion tenge, which is one percent less than during the same period of last year.
