Non-oil products worth $327 million were exported to 63 countries from Iran’s Markazi Province during the first four months (March 21 – July 22) of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), said Governor of Iran's Markazi Province Ali Aghazadeh, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

According to him, the weight of the province's exports exceeded 600,000 tons this year.

Aghazadeh added that the province's exports dropped by 10 percent in value compared to the same period last year.

“Products worth about $160 million were imported to the province in four months. Despite the decline in exports, the markers for trade in Markazi Province were still positive,” he said.

Speaking about the main production activities of the province, Aghazadeh added that more than 200,000 tons of wheat have been purchased by farmers to date, showing a 14-percent increase over the same period last year.
